Previous owners have had the opportunity to request to repurchase the property. Once the property is sold or conveyed, the privilege of repurchasing automatically ends at the time of sale or conveyance. If the prior owner is the successful bidder of the property at the sale, the purchase price must be the greater of the sum of all taxes, special assessments, penalties, interest, and costs due at the time of forfeiture plus any special assessments for improvements certified as of the date of sale, or 2) the successful bid price.
