Protecting & Serving Child Abuse Victims Training

Victor Vieth, Founder and Senior Director of Gundersen National Child Protection Training Center will present several topics on child abuse, investigation, recantation and emotional abuse.  Victor is a nationally recognized expert in the field of interpersonal violence.  He speaks to audiences large and small at approximately 50 events each year.  He has trained thousands of child protection professionals from all 50 states on numerous topics pertaining to child abuse investigation, prosecution and prevention.  

He has been instrumental in implementing 22 state and international forensic interview training programs and dozens of undergraduate and graduate programs on child maltreatment.

Program Purpose

This training is to provide those professionals that handle child maltreatment cases.  It is designed to provide professionals with a variety of topics to be informed on responding to child maltreatment cases including physical or sexual abuse or neglect cases.  This training is open to professionals in: 

  • Advocacy
  • Child Protection
  • Law Enforcement
  • Medical and Faith Based Organizations
  • Prosecution

POST credits and CLEs have been applied for.
