Mental health is an important issue for the Isanti County community.  Access barriers and negative stigma surrounding mental illness continue to prevent the community from achieving its highest potential in regards to mental health.

Isanti County Public Health works with community partners to eliminate stigma around mental illness and help people connect with services in the community.   

Isanti County Public Health hosts monthly Mental Well-being and Resilience Learning Community sessions.

  • The first hour is a webinar about innovative strategies to promote mental well-being and resilience, emphasizing community-based and community-driven initiatives.
  • The second hour includes practice discussions, sharing similar efforts in your location, relevant research or resources, networking, and planning next steps.

The 2019 dates include April 30, May 28, June 25, July 30, August 27, September 24, October 29 and November 26.
