The Zoning Department interprets,
enforces, and provides consultation on county zoning, shore
land, flood plain, wetlands, subdivision and platting,
recycling, household hazardous waste
program, and county solid waste ordinances. The department
also enforces the Minnesota
State Building Code and MPCA on-site sewage treatment systems.
