The park is located in Oxford Township on both sides of County Road 18, a
quarter mile north of County Road 9 and two miles south of County Road
5.
Total acreage of the park is 174 acres
protecting one half mile of shoreline along Horseleg and Horseshoe Lakes.
The landscape consists of northern
hardwood forests, wetlands, and restored prairies typical of the Anoka Sand
Plain Region.
Facilities currently include two trail head parking areas, information kiosks, a
group picnic shelter, picnic tables, grills, benches, and a restroom.
Three miles of multi use trails are maintained for hiking, biking, horseback
riding, geocaching, and shoeshowing.
Future plans include a playground, canoe access to Horseshoe Lake and three
boardwalks allowing access across the park's wetlands.
