Isanti County Probation Organizational Structure
Under general direction of the 10th Judicial District, Isanti County Judges, and Isanti County Board of Commissioners, the primary purpose of this position is to plan, administer, organize, manage, and direct all activities of the Isanti County Probation Department.
This unit supervises misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor offenders ordered to pretrial release, adult offenders convicted of misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor offenses, and felony charges that have been reduced by conviction. Offenders are supervised by their risk and need as determined by a validated risk/needs assessment (LSI-R). The unit monitors the offender’s compliance with court ordered conditions and makes appropriate referrals to community based programs and/or other court ordered programming
This unit supervises all juvenile offenders, including those who qualify for the diversion program. Offenders, with the exception of diversions and petty misdemeanors, are supervised by their risk and need as determined by a validated risk/need assessment (YLS/CMI). The unit monitors the offender’s compliance with court ordered conditions, completes court ordered reports and makes appropriate referrals to community based programs and/or other court ordered programming.
Probation Service Center (PSC)
This unit supervises low level misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor offenders administratively. The unit monitors the offender's compliance with court ordered conditions.
This unit provides clerical support to the Director and Probation Officers.
