Jeffrey R. Edblad, County Attorney
Prosecution of felony, gross misdemeanor, and juvenile cases assigned by
Law. Serves as legal advisor to County Board of Commissioners and all
county committees and officials. Assists Family Services in paternity
adjudication and child support collection.

Receiving and paying all County claims. Preparation of County payroll,
record and receipts County monies, maintain accounting system, maintain voter
registration and administer County elections. Establish and maintains
property tax rolls and administers the property tax system. Issue all beer
and liquor licenses in the townships. Issue drivers license within the
County. Agent to the DNR for issuing game and fish licenses to individuals.
Collects all current real estate taxes and apportions tax receipts to local
units of government. Collects all other fees, pays warrants, and invests
County funds.

Formerly Civil Defense, coordinates
the preparation for response and recovery from emergencies or disasters
resulting from natural or man made causes. Responsible for developing
County Emergency Plans.

Coordinate and administer the operations of the County computer systems and

Department administers construction and maintenance activities on county
highways and bridges. Issues permits for ingress/egress, overwidth/overweight
loads, and utilities.

The Isanti County Law Library is open Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30
p.m. The Library consists of: WESTLAW online legal research as well
as printed publications.

Coordinates the maintenance and upkeep of County buildings and grounds.

the resources of the University of Minnesota. We provide information in
areas of family and youth development, agriculture, horticulture, environment,

The Probation Department administers
Adult and Juvenile Probation services for the 10th Judicial
District Court. The Department completes pre-sentence
investigations, Bail Evaluations, and provides supervision for all juvenile and
adult misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor offenders as ordered by the Court. The
Department also provides, monitors, and coordinates programs
to meet the needs of offenders including Juvenile Diversion,
Juvenile Cognitive Restructuring Program, Juvenile
Shoplifting Program (YES), Restorative Family Group
Conferencing, Juvenile AlcoEdu Program, Juvenile Bullying
Program, Home Electronic
Monitoring (HEM), Adult P.I.C.K.
Alcohol Orientation Program, Remote Alcohol Monitoring
(REAM), Pretrial Conditional Release Supervision, Adult Cognitive Restructuring Program, Community
Policing Program, Community Service Work, and other
programs.

Coordinates all transportation requests for the County through one
centralized telephone number. This includes requests for Volunteer
Drivers, VA Van, and Public Transit buses. Our sole purpose is to offer a
low-cost, efficient mode of public transportation for all County residents.

Provides assistance to veteran's,
their dependents, or survivors in all programs of veterans affairs available at
federal, state, and local levels, including Veterans Administration and the
Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs.

hazardous waste program, and county solid waste ordinances. Enforce the
