The Auditor-Treasurer
Department is responsible for receiving and paying all County claims. This
includes preparation of County payroll,
record and receipts County monies, maintain accounting system, maintain voter
registration and administer County elections. Establishes and maintains
property tax rolls and administers the property tax system. Issue all beer
and liquor licenses in the townships. Issue drivers license within the
County. Agent to the DNR for issuing game and fish licenses to individuals.
Collects all current real estate taxes and apportions tax receipts to local
units of government. Collects all other fees, pays warrants, and invests
County funds.
