Minnesota Statute 330 requires that:

How To Obtain

Isanti County , Minnesota , resident auctioneers: 

  1. Fill out the Auctioneer License application form and the Certification of Compliance form.
  2. The application form must also be signed by a Notary Public.
  3. Then, either:

Out-of-state auctioneers: 

  1. Fill out the
     - Auctioneer License application form
     - Certification of Compliance form (Minnesota Workers' Compensation Law)
     - Irrevocable Consent to Service of Process form
  2. The forms must also be signed by a Notary Public.
  3. Obtain a certified copy of the applicant's current auctioneer's license from home state and copy of home state's auction laws (reciprocity must be established).
  4. At least three weeks in advance of the event, mail the complete application, Irrevocable Consent, Surety Bond and required fee to:

A surety bond is required in the amount of $1,000.00, designating Isanti County on the line that reads "bound onto _______."

The license fee is $20.00

The Isanti County Auditor office can only accept payment by cash or check.
